The Memorial is probably the worst named bank on Errwood as there isn’t any memorial however there is a commemorative plaque celebrating the opening of the reservoir in 1968 by the Duchess of Kent.

This area can probably only accommodate two anglers but on its day can be one of the most productive areas on the water. This small corner of the reservoir catches terrestrials from the surrounding trees and, at the right time of year, mass swarms of flying ants.
