Directions from Leek to Errwood Reservoir
Approximately 15 miles, 20 minutes
From Leek head North East on the A53 to Buxton
After entering Buxton continue straight on at the traffic lights
Turn left onto the A5400 immediately after St John’s Church and the Old Clubhouse Public House.
Follow the A5400/Manchester Road (Long Hill) for 2 miles heading out of Buxton
Turn Left at Goyt Lane (signposted Goyt Valley)
Follow the road into the valley until you come to two large reservoirs. Errwood Reservoir is the higher of the two reservoirs on the left.
Parking is available on the roads around the reservoir, but please park sensibly. EFFC members may park in the sailing club area and have a key for the gate and barrier which should be closed at all times unless the sailing club want to leave it open. Day ticket holders parking in this area risk being locked in.
The returns box is built into the wall by the valve tower and easily viewable from the barrier. Please post all returns as it helps us keep an accurate stocking policy.
