Getting to fish

To fish Errwood reservoir you can purchase a day ticket from a number of local outlets. The cost is currently £15.00 (catch or release with a 3 fish limit) alternatively you could become an EFFC club member from £170, plus an initial joining fee of £60. Junior members join for a 50% discount.

If you wish to join, then you will need a proposer and seconder (if non are available please contact the Club Secretary). All angling also requires an Environment Agency Licence, available from Post Offices or the EA website.

The fishery is open for members from dawn until dusk (9:00am for day ticket anglers) seven days per week from mid March through to November.

We operate a catch OR release policy. Barbless hooks are preferred.

Other events

As well as fishing Errwood Reservoir we organise a few sea fishing events each year, have an annual team competitions including a match against our friends at Carsington Fly Fishing Club and hold an Errwood Open Competition at various venues. These events are aimed at having fun rather than serious competitions.

Note: In accordance with Club Rule 1, Day Ticket Rule 10. "All anglers on fishing club/fishery waters must be in possession of a valid Environment Agency (EA) licence at all times. All relevant EA bye laws will be observed on club waters. Club Officials are authorised to check the EA Licence and proof of identity of any angler on fishing club/fishery waters. Failure to provide either could lead to expulsion from the club/fishery."
